Start a Crowdfunding Campaign

Thank you for supporting The Nashville Food Project in all the ways you do! Since you care so much about the Food Project, we know your family and friends will too. Below are directions for starting a crowdfunding campaign for "A Longer Table" in support of The Nashville Food Project's new headquarters. By raising funds for this important project, YOU are investing in the future of our work to nourish ALL in Nashville.

1. Click "Join Campaign."

2. Click "Create Your Own Team."

To create your own team, click "Create Your Own Team." If you wish to support our general capital campaign or support an existing team, click "Join a Team" instead. All funds will go directly to the capital campaign no matter how you choose to give!

3. Create a CrowdRise account or sign in to an existing account.

From here, you'll either need to create your own CrowdRise account or sign in if you already have an account. To create a new account, we recommend signing in through Facebook to make things as simple as possible.

4. Set up your team.

Once your account is created and you're signed in, it's time to set up your team! Give your team a name, and set your fundraising goal. The default goal is $1,000, but you can change it to whatever feels best to you. Lastly, under "About Your Fundraiser" tell your loved ones why this campaign matters to YOU! Once you've named your team, personalize it! Set your goal and stated your purpose, click "Next" to create your team.

Got a great photo of you volunteering in our kitchens, gardens or food trucks? Share it! Your loved ones will love seeing what you love about the Food Project. You can also use the default campaign image.

5. Share your fundraiser.

Now for the important part - share your fundraiser! Here you can share the fundraiser through Facebook, twitter and email. You can even copy the specific link to your fundraiser and share it on your own. Sharing your fundraiser through social media and email can help you raise THREE TIMES more for the campaign so share, share, share!

Now that your fundraiser is created and shared, you can visit your dashboard to see your fundraising progress and share updates with your friends and family.
